Behind the scene

The shape of our breath - 2024

The Shape of our Breath is the longest and most intensive in situ project I have made so far. I started in July and worked non stop every day, sometimes up to 11 hours , until the end exhibit in October 2024. It was very interesting as I had a public daily stopping by in the gallery and interacting with me about my work. It is also a very dauting experience, taking on such an endeavour and revealing the vunerable sides of the project. It became an increbible experience, sharing this kind of vunerability with strangers. The immediate connection this created was beautiful and rich.

What started out as a tale of a private love story became a true connection between hundreds of people from all over the world, sharing about vunerability and letting go of perfectionisme. I have hugged, laughed and even cried together with absolute strangers, some of which we hardely could communicate, and yet the emotions were conveyed and understood. No matter culture or age, we united for a brief moment of vunerability. And even one year later, I still receive messages or have visits due to these strong encounters.
